Located in the posh neighbourhood of Mont’ Kiara, Allevia is a residential condominium that is designed around the ideal hotel-living experience, with an emphasis on comfort and privacy. With only four units on each floor and vast living spaces that are sized from 1,703 to 2,634 sq. ft., our brief was to create an abode in Allevia which will accommodate the ideal affluent urban lifestyle, imbued with quality craftsmanship and the finest of finishes.
 
We drew inspiration from the 12 Apostles, a collection of limestone stacks by the Great Ocean Road about a 4-hour drive from Melbourne in the state of Victoria, Australia. The combination of the different visual textures of the water, cliffs and clouds was interesting in the way that they contrast yet exude a sense of harmony and balance. The interior design was inspired by the translation of these elements into living spaces that are striking in their elegance yet powerful in their simplicity. 
 
Our team carefully crafted spaces of balanced energy and welcoming peace by utilising a calming colour palette with elegant layering of contrasting textures and luxurious materials. We delivered an exclusive, relaxed and lavish, almost therapeutic living experience—one that celebrates family interaction as well as a separation of public and private spaces within the home.
 
Our client, UEM Sunrise Berhad has since won design awards for Allevia in the 2021 Asia Property Awards (APPA) in the Best High Rise Building and Development categories.
