The “Arcadia Center” project, designed by Giuseppe Tortato Architetti, is located in Milan in Via Grosio, it rennovates and gives a new image to a building built in the seventies.

In addition, the total overhaul that involved the envelope and plant systems made the achieving of the LEED Silver certificate possible. The project involves the construction of a building for tertiary use to house the new headquarters of Volkswa-gen Leasing & Bank GmbH.

The reinterpretation of the façade gives the two buildings a new image with contrasting shapes and colors alternating white and sinuous shapes with anthracite and angular Volumes.

Green areas were also designed with particular attention on each floor by reorganizing the terraces and making a hole in the rear courtyard, creating a winter garden for the exclusive use of the dining area.

The team supported Tortato Architetti and F&M Ingegneria through the entire design process with BIM technologies, from the concept to the handover of the building. Indeed, when the design was completed, we had the chance to support the general contractor, Italiana Costruzioni, on the shop drawings and As-Built BIM model.
